La Grange is a beautifully restored stone building offering guests flexible accommodation.
The ground floor features polished burgundy stone floors throughout. The large sitting/dining room is accessed from the garden and opens onto a covered veranda overlooking the extensive lawns and our neighbour's vines. There are dining and seating facilities for at least 6 guests, and a wood burning stove. A delightful feature of the garden is the village's stone wash pool where traditionally the clothes would have been washed. Off the sitting room is the kitchen, new in 2020, with oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and separate wine fridge. There are ample cooking utensils and crockery and an external door leads into the garden
Still on the ground floor there is also a double bedroom, luxury shower room (with dressing area), and separate WC.
Upstairs the stone floors continue on the landing which leads to the master bedroom with king-size bed and large wardrobe, a third large bedroom with enormous walk-in wardrobe and twin single beds, a study with desk, chairs, and a second television, and a spacious family shower room with separate WC. Each of the first floor bedrooms has attractive real wood floors.
Our second floor loft conversion with stairs leading up from the study includes a large bedroom with single bed (can be converted to a double on request). Off the bedroom is our new luxury bathroom with bath, wash basin and toilet.
The property features double glazing, shutters and electric wall heaters throughout.
