Terms and conditions
_ Booking Conditions
The following Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with Paul and Helen Isom, “the Owners” of La Cozanne and the apartment La Petite Cozanne, Le Bourg, Change, 21340 France.
Making your booking
Bookings can be made by completing the online booking form and following the on-screen instructions. Payment can be made via the Easybook website, or you can request an invoice from the owners. Once we have recieved your booking, subject to availability, we will confirm your stay by e-mail. Please contact us immediately if any information that appears on the confirmation or any other document appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later. We regret that we cannot accept liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within 5 working days of our sending it out.
The Accommodation
La Cozanne:- Maximum number of sleeping places is 5/6 (double bed, 2 x twin beds and a bed settee in the main bedroom). In addition up to 2 cots are available for small children. (Please advise at time of booking if one or both cots are required).
La Petite Cozanne:- Maximum number of sleeping places is 3 (double bed and a bed settee in the lounge diner). In addition a cot may be available for a small child. (Subject to not being already reserved by guests at La Cozanne – Please advise at time of booking if a cot is required).
We regret that smoking and pets are not permitted in either property.
Pitching of tents or parking of caravans is not permitted.
Maintenance works may occasionally be necessary to the property and/or its external spaces. We will endeavour to minimise any inconvenience.
Payment
All payments should be made to the owners via EasyBook or direct.
Deposits are to be paid at time of booking and are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.
Balances due should be paid no later than 6 weeks before the date for arrival.
Cancellation
If we receive you cancellation 43 or more days before you are due to arrive you will lose your deposit.
If we receive your cancellation any day between the 42nd and the 29th day before you are due to arrive you will lose/or be obliged to pay 50% of the booking value.
On or after the 28th day before you are due to arrive you will lose/or be obliged to pay 100% of the booking value.
Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out suitable personal travel insurance.
Special Requests
If you have any special requests you must advise these at the time of booking. No guarantees can be given that these request will be met and we will have no liability to you if they are not.
Disabilities and medical problems
If you or any member of your party has any medical problems or disability that may affect your booking please advise at the time of booking. If the Owners reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned they reserve the right to decline/cancel the booking.
Complaints and Law and Jurisdiction
Your contract is with us, the owners, and any queries/concerns should be addressed to us in the first instance.
If you have a problem whilst staying at the property this should be reported immediately to the local managing agent, ABC…bourgogne, as indicated on the cover of the property information pack. (Tel 03 85 82 94 86 )
The contract and all matters arising out of it are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland in which case you can bring proceedings in your local court under Scots or Northern Irish law as applicable).
